Community Service and Cultural Outings
Several times a year, DC Squash Academy team members participate in community service activities. The activities help members gain an understanding of the importance of community service, and help them discover the rewards of helping others. These activities take place on Saturdays. In addition, the children go on field trips. Recent outings include seeing a documentary film at the Museum of Natural History's Imax theater, a visit to a horse farm, community service at the Food For All food bank, and a trip to Philadelphia to play against teams from Squash Smarts (Philiadelphia) and Street Squash (New York City).
